Government of India pays a lot of importance to the people.
In an effort to register each and every Individual, Government has setup UIDAI
in 2010. Since then, UIDAI established hundreds of Centre that are called
Aadhar Enrollment Centre.
The objective of UIDAI is to make the entire process simple
& comfortable for the applicant. There is no hard requirement that you
cannot fulfilled for Aadhar Generation
Process.
Aadhar number can be generated by visiting any nearest aadhar card Enrollment Centre. There is no hard & fast rule to visit any particular
branch. You are free to visit any Centre which is feasible for you.
Once you enter the Centre, staff will guide you at each
& every step.

Generation Process
1. Submission of documents - The operator in the Aadhar
Centre will ask for your form and identity document. Here, you can submit any
document that can proof your identity such as voter ID card, Passport, driving
License. You will be asked to give your mobile number to get status updates on
your mobile. You can give mobile number of any one in your family. There is no
problem if you give your spouse, brother or sister mobile phone number.
2. Photograph - After entering your mobile number in the
database, operator will ask you to look at the camera for a photograph. You
should focus on the camera so that your photograph look good.
3. Eye's Capture - In this step, operator will take your eye
capture using a device available on his or her table. In this IRIS scan is
taken to make sure the data is saved with authenticity. Please keep in mind
that your eyes will not get affected due to this step. There are people in our
society that do not want the Government to have an up to date records of their
people. So, they create fears among people. As a result, people do not visit
Aadhar Centre for enrollment.
4. Finger Prints -
Now, the operator will ask you to place your fingers and thumbs on a machine.
This machine will take scan of your fingers and thumbs. First, you have to
place left fingers, then right fingers. Later on, you will be asked to place
both thumb on the machine. This is a Bio-metric step and is very important in
enrollment of an applicant.
5. Review - After all the above steps, operator will ask the
applicant to review his or her information on the computer screen. If the
applicant finds any mistake or error, the operator will correct the same on the
spot. Now, it is your duty to thoroughly check your details. Take some time and
read carefully before passing on any comments.
6. Acknowledgement – This is the last step of Aadhar Generation Process. If you agree
to the data input, operator will give you an acknowledgment slip. You can use
the details on this on UIDAI to track your application status. Your Aadhar
number details will be dispatched to you at your given address.
